Being chronically busy is a condition I do not prefer, but I do enjoy having something fun planned each weekend. We’re on that May grind, where everything hard feels like it’s going to last forever, but in actuality, summer is right around the corner. Now that our kid is of an age where we all enjoy similar outings, some weekends even truly feel like vacations in our very own home/town/city/state. Shared familial adventuring is a gift I will never tire of, and the three of us continue to love the absolute daylights out of one another.

There are mass gun murders taking place every day in this country, lately. While I try not to let fear guide my life, I can’t negotiate or plead for mercy to someone using an AR-15, you know? Take care of yourselves out there, and maybe one day some of those with political power to do so, will stop choosing guns over our human lives and loved ones.

Give your loved ones a big hug, and remember not to wait until tomorrow to pay someone a compliment, lend a helping hand, or pause for just a second to feel a sunbeam rest on your face. Here are some pictures of some things from some places we’ve been/done/ate/made, lately:
