Glass Animals is a band from the UK and Pools is off of their debut album, Zaba. It was recommended by a friend a few weeks ago and I have not been able to stop listening to it since. It is well suited for volume, whether that be in your headphones or pumping through your living room’s sound system. When I close my eyes, I imagine some sort of futuristic-jungle-garage situation that involves smoke and stomping. I thoroughly enjoy the courteous way that they don’t end the song with lyrics, but continue to give you a few more minutes of tribal thumping instrumentals. So, move the furniture already, swing your body about without a care, and smile because you want to.
